We will be having some celebrations for the students on Tuesday and Wednesday. Cookies are already being brought in. If you have other ways in which you'd like to make our student's last two days this year fun, please email me: echan@lpatucson.org or ask me in person after school.
Vacation starts on Wednesday at 11:30. There will be no afterschool program or activity. No lunch is provided, and students will need to be picked up promptly by 11:45. Have a merry vacation! See you on January 4th!

due 12/10: Write a 5 sentence story with a picture
due 12/11: Write a 5 sentence book report. Pick a very short book. If you can't think of 5 sentences to describe the book, write some of the following: how the book reminded you of your own life, another book you read, or something else in the world you know about.
These last few homework assignments were student created. I modified them a little and let the class vote on which to do first.
Sorry for the late posting...I've had internet trouble.

due 12/4: The kids voted to make fake money for homework. They can look at and draw the details from a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, dollar bill, or any other American money. They should draw the front and the back. Coloring or cutting it out is optional, but color lightly to make sure the details can be seen. Have fun!
